Why
Progress The Sport of Lacrosse as Fast as Possible
Lacrosse Center was created to raise the level of lacrosse that is played around the world. After having Lacrosse be such an important part of our lives, we wanted to give back to the sport to help it grow and positively impact more people in the way it impacted us.
We want to help players and coaches learn and progress as fast as possible. If we can become better players and more effective coaches, then the level of play will rise much faster. By improving the level of play from youth up through high school, that will impact the level of play at the collegiate and professional level.
The goal of LacrosseCenter.org is to provide information, tools, strategies, and concepts in a way that help players and coaches learn and improve faster. Let’s Grow the Game together!
Who
My name is Dan Wilkerson and currently live in Jupiter, Florida with my wife and son.
My Lacrosse journey began on Long Island in New York where they had me in full pads in 1st grade. I loved the sport and continued playing in Bedford, Massachusetts through High School. Eventually I played at the college level for Palm Beach Atlantic University.
After 16 years of playing it was a no-brainer for me to jump in as a coach and I have now coached for 9 years. The last 7 of those years as a coach for a varsity high school team in South Florida. I have spent time as both the offensive and defensive coordinator and learned so much from my fellow coaches and players.
I hope to build this site to be an invaluable resource for other players and coaches looking to progress faster and grow the great game of Lacrosse!
